How many credit hours are the Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia Care Seminar and The Montessori Concept in Dementia Care?Due to unforseen circumstances, the CEU Network is no longer offering nursing CEUS. You will need to apply directly to your state or national licensing board to obtain CEU approval. NCCAP approved CEUs are available for the Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia Care Seminar. You will receive 7 instructional hours for this seminar. You will receive a certificate after completion of the seminar that you can submit to NCCAP when you renew your certifications through NCCAP.

What do I need to know before I register for the seminar?This Training Seminar is offered Live via Zoom. You must have a PC/Laptop and working microphone/speakers/video to participate. Participants must be present online via audio AND visual for the entire session to receive the Certificate of Completion required to apply to become a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) or Certified Dementia Volunteer (CVD) through the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners (NCCDP) or a Certified Montessori Dementia Care Professional through the International Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners (ICCDP).

What is included in the cost of the seminar?With your seminar registration, you'll receive a digital student handbook to guide your learning. Upon successful completion of the seminar, you'll also be awarded a certificate of completion.

What materials will I receive with the seminar, and can I duplicate them?A: You will receive digital handbooks from either NCCDP and ICCDP, depending on the seminar you registered to attend. Please note that these handbooks are copyrighted and cannot be duplicated or redistributed. However, for your convenience, you will be provided handouts in your digital handbook containing all necessary information, which you are free to print and use.

For 1-hour sessions, we can accommodate up to 3 family members, and for our 2-hour sessions, up to 4 members. This is to maintain an effective and focused consultation.
